Omni Film Productions has been developing award-winning, original programming for 30 years. Omni develops drama and comedy, as well as lifestyle and factual series and documentaries.

We welcome creative ideas from the independent television community. Please review our website to see if your project is a good fit for Omni Film, then read the guidelines for submitting your pitch, sign a submission release form and then have your agent or manager submit on your behalf to the appropriate address (see below). Any unsolicited pitches will not be read nor responded to.

Please note Omni does NOT produce feature films or animation. At this time Omni is not reading MOW or Mini-Series submissions. If you submit these genres, they will not be read and you will not receive a response.


SUBMISSION GUIDELINES FOR DRAMA AND COMEDY


• If your pitch is a drama or comedy - please submit a 1-4 page outline of your series concept including: log line, synopsis, episode examples, characters, style, tone, and market.

• We will read a pilot script but always prefer an outline to be included in the package.

• If your series is based on a true story or novel - please include information on story rights and who owns them.

• Please include bios and CVs of all Key Creative(s).

• Please list the broadcasters who you believe are a good fit for your project.

• If you have pitched this to other production companies and/or broadcasters please include information on where it has been pitched and what the responses have been.

• Please describe what role you are intending to play on the production when it gets produced.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES FOR FACTUAL & LIFESTYLE SERIES AND DOCUMENTARIES


•If your pitch is a series please submit a 1-4 page description of the series, including possible episode synopses. If your pitch is a documentary, please submit a 1-2 page description.

•If you have a host or other talent in mind, please provide a demo reel.

•Please include your bio and/or CV and, if applicable, the host(s) and any other key creative.

•Please include research on what broadcaster you intend this project for and how it fits with that broadcaster’s programming needs.

•If you have pitched this to other production companies and/or broadcasters please include information on where it has been pitched and what the responses have been.

•Please describe what role you are intending to play on the production when it gets produced.
