Brad Quenville Wins Leo Award Best Screenwriting Documentary Series For Wild Bear Rescue

Omnifilm Entertainment is proud to announce that Brad Quenville is the winner of the 2020 Leo Award for Best Screenwriting Documentary Series for his work on Season 3 of Wild Bear Rescue, a documentary series for Animal Planet that follows the only animal shelter in the world legally allowed to rescue and rehabilitate orphaned grizzly bear cubs.

The 2020 Leo Awards, “celebrating excellence in British Columbia film and television”, were broadcast live on the Leo Awards’ YouTube channel in Vancouver, BC, July 28.  In addition to taking home the Best Screenwriting category, the series also received four other nominations, Best Documentary Series, Best Direction Documentary Series nominations for both Brad Quenville and Nick Quenville, and Best Cinematography Documentary Series for Nick Quenville.

Wild Bear Rescue is a docu-series following a round-the-clock mission of the Langen family in Northern BC, which operates Northern Lights Wildlife Shelter. The series premiered in Canada on June 23, 2017. Wild Bear Rescue is produced by Omnifilm Entertainment Ltd. in association with Animal Planet.
