In a fascist world where people with special abilities are labeled “Freaks” and killed on sight, Mary and Chloe pursue a mission of revenge. They live on the road, hunted by brutal paramilitary police. But Chloe’s longing for a friend her own age throws her mom’s plans into chaos. Chloe’s supernatural visions of a mysterious girl named Josie will lead them into danger and unlock secrets in Mary’s past that have been long buried.
